Message Especially since the OP only seems interested in how to maximize the amount of money he can get for the part. If I were looking to buy a head and that was all I could find, I'd be more concerned about "what" happened to cause the crack(s) and "how" it may have affected the rest of the head... finally, I'd wonder if it was even repaired properly.

After all of the welded aluminum heads I've seen, there is no way I would buy a repaired head from anyone, there's too many "what ifs" that come with them and it's so easy to find good used replacement heads that are cheap. I estimate it would cost $200 in welding for it to be done correctly with prep and preheating - if you go with Tech@EPR's advice and replace all the guides and seats for just one cylinder, there's another easy $200 of parts and labor.
